Boron based liquid corrective

Composition:
Boron (B) 8%

Characteristics
F5 is a product specifically indicated against boron deficiencies which mostly appear during the first vegetative stages.
Boron is a very soluble element, barely linked to soil colloids and hence foliar application is recommended during the most critical phases.

F5’s main features are:
- High content in organic matter, allowing the best possible absorption even in the presence of reduced leaf surface and adverse weather conditions.
- Lack of sodium and heavy metals that tend to interfere with the translocation capacity and velocity of boron in the plant.
- Very good compatibleness with plant protection products, except those with a purely acid or alkaline reaction.

Fruit growing
In fruit growing, F5 is used from pre-flowering stage up to flowering, in 2 to 3 treatments at the dose of 200 – 300 ml/hl with the purpose of:
- improving pollen ripening which encourages pollination and seeds development;
- promoting cell multiplication, proteins formation and nitrogen metabolism;
- promoting the setting and growth of prime quality fruits.

Grape-growing
Sensitivity to boron deficiencies varies according to the cultivars and depends on soil and weather conditions.
The deficiency is detectable by a generally unthrifty spring growth and a marked millerandage.
F5 is usually admixed with anti-mildew products at the dose of 200-300 ml/hl and applied at the pre-flowering stage; 2 to 3 treatments at a 10-15 day interval will be generally sufficient to cope with the deficiency.

Sugar beet / cauliflower
These crops are particularly sensitive to boron deficiencies whose sign is the typical “black heart”. Boron deficiency may occur in soils with high pH values, in conjunction with heavy washes or persistent draughts and it brings about the death of end tissues.
Two applications at the dose of 1.5 – 2 lt/ha are generally sufficient to achieve good results.
Should the product be mixed with post-emergence weed killers or fungicides, do not exceed the dose of 1 lt/hl water.

Alfalfa
This crop is very sensitive to boron deficiencies which make the plant ends turn yellow. Two applications at the dose of 1.5 – 2 lt/ha during the first growth stage will deeply increase the yield and crop quality.
