Calcium-Magnesium-Nitrogen based liquid corrective with chelated microelements

Composition
Calcium (CaO) 15% - Nitrogen (N) 3% - Boron (B) 0,05% - Iron (Fe) 0,04% - Manganese (Mn) 0,1% - Zinc (Zn) 0,015%

Characteristics
F3 is particularly indicated for the prevention of bitter pit in apple trees thanks to its supply of calcium and microelements which are fundamental for the best possible plant nutrition. The treated plants maintain a greener vegetation whose leaves are firmer and more resistant to pest damage.

F3’s main features are
- High content in moisturizing and carrying substances which guarantee a perfect and prolonged absorption of the nutrients;
- Chloride-based CaO content, especially active against bitter pit;
- Lack of nitrates;
- Maximum compatibleness with plant protection products, except those with a purely acid or alkaline reaction.
The corrective effect does not depend as much on the product Ca content as on the plant ability to absorb it and store it in the fruits. This specific formulation optimise calcium intake and translocation.

Apple trees
The number of treatments and the sequence of the products may be adapted according to the variety susceptibility to bitter pit.
A) According to the varieties and areas subject to low or medium incidence, it is recommended to use:
F2 - 3 to 4 treatments at a dose of 350 ml/hl starting at the beginning of June;
F3 - 3 to 4 treatments at a dose of 300 ml/hl continuing from the beginning of July up to pre-harvesting.
B) According to the varieties and areas at high incidence of bitter pit, it is recommended to use:
F2 - 2 to 3 treatments at a dose of 300 ml/hl starting at post-setting;
F3 - 5 to 6 treatments at a dose of 300 ml/hl from mid-June and continuing up to harvesting time.
rust - No rust onset has been observed during trials and actual applications.
Mixing properties - F2 and F3 can be perfectly mixed with plant protection products commonly used during the above mentioned periods. Any combination with acid or alkaline based products must be avoided.
