Calcium-Magnesium-Nitrogen based
liquid corrective with chelated microelements

Composition
Magnesium (MgO) 8% - Calcium (CaO) 4% - Nitrogen (N) 3% - Boron (B) 0,05% - Iron (Fe) 0,07% - Manganese (Mn) 1% - Zinc (Zn) 0,5%

Characteristics
F2 has been purposely formulated for correcting K/Ca and K/(Ca+Mg) ratios which may cause serious physiological disorders if their presence in the plant is not balanced.

F2’s main features are:
- High content in moisturizing and carrying substances which prevent elements from crystallizing and ensure a perfect and prolonged absorption;
- High content in sugars used as energy source;
- Maximum compatibleness with plant protection products, excluding those with a purely acid or alkaline reaction.

Application fields and instructions for use
vines

- Drying of the rachi:
- Quality enhancement.
F2 Used at a dose of 300 - 500 ml/hl in association with the ordinary plant protection treatments since flowering period, F2 improves the quality of both table and wine grapes.

Apple trees
- Yield and quality enhancement of harvest;
- Reduction of bitter pit and storage diseases;
- Reduction of leaf fall on the variety Golden Delicious;
Tests 2000-2001
- Dr. Duilio Porro - Agrarian Institute of San Michele all’Adige, presented on the occasion of the International Symposium on foliar nutrition of perennial fruit plants, September2001, Merano - Italy

The trial population treated with F2 presents a higher number of first quality healthy fruits, the absence of bitter pitted fruits and a decline of Monilia and Gleosporium.

A number of trials and practical applications have showed that F2 is useful also for controlling leaf fall with a reduction up to 80%.
It is advisable to admix F2 with general plant protection products and then spray it on apple trees starting at the post-flowering period.
N.B.: Do not mix F2 with plant protection products which promote leaf fall.
pear trees
F2 is used with pear trees and especially with the following varieties:
- Decana: in order to encourage setting and improve fruit size;
- Conference: in order to stimulate the vegetative development and fruit size;
- Abate: in order to decrease the incidence of biennial bearing and encourage setting.
Applications in mixture with plant protection products starting from flowering and at doses of 300 - 400 ml/hl for normal volume treatments, up to 1 lt/hl for low volume treatments.
peach trees
Applications of F2 on peach trees since pink buds setting improve both fruit size and fruit colouring.
tomatoes
300 ml/hl for 3 to 5 treatments starting when tomatoes of the first branches start to turn dark.
